The Solophok Char Dham, also known as Siddheshwar Dham, stands as a remarkable tourist spot constructed by the Sikkim government under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Inaugurated in 2011, this cultural complex sits atop the serene Solopok Hill, offering breathtaking surroundings for visitors. It beautifully recreates the four sacred places of pilgrimage for Hindus—Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka, and Rameshwaram—along with an awe-inspiring 108 ft tall Shiva deity accompanied by a Nandi. The complex also houses twelve Shiva lingams, symbolizing the sacred jyotirlingas. A revered deity of Kirteshwara, who blessed Arjuna with divine weapons during the Mahabharat war, graces the opposite side of the Shiva deity. Moreover, the complex encompasses a Sai Baba temple, creating a spiritual and tranquil experience for all.

SAMDRUPTSE STATUE
Perched atop Samdruptse Hill near Namchi, the imposing 26 ft high deity of Guru Padmasambhava stands as another grand attraction, drawing crowds in large numbers. The location exudes serenity and offers mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains—the soft chants of “Om Mani Padme Hum” echo throughout, creating an enchanting atmosphere.
NGADAK MONASTERY
A cherished relic of the past, Ngadak Monastery, situated near Namchi, was constructed during the reign of Chogyal Gyurmed Namgyal by Tensung Namgyal. Despite some damages caused by the 17th-century earthquake, a new gompa was added to the monastery. The name “Ngadak” holds significance, meaning “promise” in Tibetan folklore. As the legend goes, whoever visits the monastery must promise to return, adding a touch of mystique to this ancient spiritual abode.
